Sumaqua is looking for an engineer to strengthen our R&D team!
You will be working on a broad range of highly innovative projects contributing to a more sustainable and future-proof water system. You translate the latest scientific developments and technologies into practice to tackle water challenges in urban and riverine environments, such as droughts and floods. You will be working at the interface between innovative modelling, machine learning and operational IoT-driven platforms.
The main focus of your work can be adjusted according to your interests and experience. You can play an important role in the growth of Sumaqua. We encourage you to take initiative, look for opportunities for business development, and be a frontrunner in innovation in the water sector.
We’re looking for somebody who:
Holds a MSc. degree in (civil or bio) engineering or applied sciences.
Has minimal 3 years of experience in modelling of water systems
Has experience in programming languages such as Python, R or MATLAB
Has experience with GIS software
Experience with Machine Learning and/or operational platforms is considered an asset
Is eager to learn, grow with us and make an impact
